Secret Garden Party
A surreal experience for us: a summer festival where the weather stayed (mostly) dry. A huge thanks to the mighty Planet Angel crew who turned up to support us during our daylight set (Happy birthday Rob! Big four-zero.. sheesh!).
A Subsource first: getting onto stage in fancy dress.. Some guy found me later and said he caught the show because he saw Optimus Prime on stage, and he'd taken a piss in the urinals next to Optimus Prime the night before, who speaking about himself in the 3rd person. ("Uhhh... yeah... Optimus Prime needed that so bad..")
The rest of the festival rolled out nicely.. new friends and lots of beautiful people. Can't remember how many times we heard, "Oh, I caught your set by accident.. it was great. But why didn't they put you on later?". We'll get it next year Gadget, next year. (Fingers crossed)

As I said on the day, that was simply the best show I've seen you play....main stages beckon I reckon.
Thanks for the Happy Birthday shout too, it's not very often that you'll see me speechless, but you did me over good and proper! You made an old young man feel 50 feet tall.

We just wanted to drop you a line and say how ‘kin impressed we were with your gig at SGP... we know how good you are from the gigs you’ve played at Planet Angel, but still we were completely blown away with your SGP gig. Even though we’ve got to know you now and we’re mates, that’s only a small part of the reason that loads of us pilled down to watch you play!
Your performance was completely professional and brilliant to watch; when you’re standing in the audience, you can literally feel the positive energy you guys put in. Musically as well you’ve gone from strength to strength, your collective talent –both performance wise and in your song-writing is up there with the best.
If success in the music industry was based on personality and talent (!) you guys would already be at the top of the pile.
Well done and big respect, see you on the main stage guys...
