Sunrise Festival
Beautiful skies, big ole dance tent and queue for some stinky portaloos. It must be festival season. Amongst some disorganisation, the vibe is laid-back and chilled out. (Security guard: "Have you got any drugs? It's fine if you do, I'd just like to know what you've got") Lessons learned at this festival: Don't spend too much time in the sun and don't overcook it by staying up partying the night before... tents just aren't the best places to rest properly.

Above: Stu completely covered in mud. (Photo by Kate) Some cheeky random kid kicks some mud up at him. Stu decides not to let him get away with it and goes to kick a load of mud back at him, except he loses his footing and much to everyone's amusement, he lands arse-first in the puddle of mud. Haha, I'll never get bored of telling that one.
It's a bit surreal playing early on in daylight.. a few friends and random stragglers catch us.
Later in the night I catch DJ Freshold running around with a water balloon launcher (firing about 50 metres), shooting into large crowds of random people and running off. In the morning, by some stroke of genius luck, I find that Nelly managed to get hit by one of them.
Over the weekend, the Guardian publishes the full Glastonbury line-up. The excitement just keeps building.
