Gig Review: Watershed 12th Oct 2005

OK - 3 bands, and we're headlining, playing alongside Shellshock (metal band) and Lyriff Beat (funky breaks-y band). As part of the headlining band for the night, I was pretty determined to obey my own soundchecking etiquette by trying to make our check as quick as possible. Unfortunately it didn't come off. Feel a bit bad about our soundcheck taking so long - apologies to the other bands again if they happen to be reading this - this was due to the laptop-skewering-incident from the previous gig on Sunday.

We played a fairly good show I reckon.. it didn't look like there were huge amounts of people in the room but it seemed there was a fairly good representation from South Africa. So, big up to SA, or something like that. Oh yeah, Stuey's Mum was there, which made me feel a bit nervous for some reason.

We've been asked to do the venue again for an event tonight which we've agreed to do, so it's going to be 4 gigs in 4 nights... hopefully we've got the stamina.

Thanks loads to Matt Brace for lending/risking his laptop for this show and the upcoming ones...
