Review of the Knowledge Night

Last night at the Spitz wasn't amazing, but I had fun. That's the main thing, so screw you guys.

Paul: "That was the worst gig we've ever played by far."

Thanks to Lady MC from Dust 21 who very kindly came down and did some stuff over the DnB section. For anyone who was at the gig, in fact we totally lost the song structures and we pretty much didn't know what was going on for the last 10-15 minutes. Amateur, I know.

Dead Silence came on after us as the main act who were pretty cool. Stuey had said a lot of good things about them so I was looking forward to seeing them. Really friendly bunch, but to be honest, I wasn't really into the music. Maybe I just didn't feel like dancing that day.

The Gobfathers stole the show, lying somewhere between a beatboxing/MC tag team and a comedy duo - great personality, talent and character. Will possibly work with them again soon. I feel it somehow wrong to use diary space as a tool for plugging other people, but take a look at www.beardyman.co.uk if you're bored and make sure you've got the sound on.

Although most of the crowd had their feet stuck to the floor (or not enough alcohol in their systems) they were a good bunch. A few people said pleasant things to me after the gig. We shall see what Knowledge mag have to say (if anything) about us next month...

We're still on the search for a frontperson for our live shows.
